The Value of Community

You won’t find a traditional synagogue dues structure at Sinai Brookline. In its place, we have adopted SinaiPromise. SinaiPromise is a pledge we make to each other as a community to contribute what we can to support our temple, clergy, and programs. These pledges are the building blocks for our being a “Kehillah shel Chesed,” a caring, inclusive community.

With this new approach, you receive information about the cost of running Sinai Brookline and the average amount each member household would need to contribute to sustaining it for the coming year. Each member is then asked to contribute what they can to maintain our community.

We invite you to learn more about this exciting alternative to traditional synagogue dues and how you can make your pledge. You can be assured that you will be welcomed warmly no matter the level of financial commitment.
