Services Schedule for Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur
- Tot Services (ages 0-5 and family): 9:30am-10:30am
- Family Services (ages 6-12 and family): 11:00am-12:30pm
Babysitting During Sanctuary Services
Parents attending Sanctuary services are welcome to register children ages 2-6 for babysitting.

At Temple Sinai, we love creating meaningful Jewish experiences for children and families at every stage. From K’tonton and Religious School to Tot Shabbat, Shabbat Yeladim, and other family programs throughout the year, there are many opportunities for children to learn, connect, build friendships, and grow in their Jewish lives.

Religious School
Register Now for the 2026-2027 School Year!
Here at Temple Sinai we cultivate a hands-on approach to learning in our classrooms and community. Our students and parents take an active role at family learning programs, special events and Shabbat services. Our curriculum emphasizes the basics of Torah, Hebrew reading and comprehension skills, social action, prayer, and Jewish studies. Our goal is to open a door to learning for everyone! Once a month, the entire religious school community comes together on a Sunday morning for joyous singing and the ritual of Havdalah (when we bid farewell to Shabbat).
- Grades K-2 attend on Sunday mornings
- Grades 3-7 attend on Sunday mornings and Tuesday afternoons
- Grades 8-12 enroll in Sinai U, our multi-faceted teen program
K'tonton
This fun, interactive Jewish drop-off program for 3- and 4-year-olds introduces young children to Jewish holidays and practices through arts & crafts, songs, stories, and games. Led by Temple Sinai teacher Karen, who has been leading K’tonton for more than 20 years, the program offers a warm and engaging introduction to the joy of Jewish learning. K’tonton is free and open to everyone—no membership or registration is required. Just drop in and join us!
Tot Shabbat
Families with young children ages 0-5 are warmly invited to join Rabbi Talia Stein in celebrating Shabbat together. She will lead families through a tot-friendly Shabbat service followed by a light Kiddush nosh. Together we’ll sing Shabbat songs and learn prayers, read stories and play! Tot Shabbat meets monthly on Saturday mornings; click here for the 2026-2027 Tot Shabbat schedule!

Shabbat Yeladim
Shabbat Yeladim is a joyful, family-friendly Shabbat experience for children in Kindergarten–3rd grade and their families. Led by Rabbi Talia Stein, this special gathering includes a kid-friendly dinner, a lively service filled with singing, dancing, and storytelling, and dessert and time to connect with other families. It’s a wonderful way for children and families to experience the joy of Shabbat together.
