Shabbat at Temple Sinai is an opportunity to step back, breathe deeply, and renew the spirit. Through beautiful music, moving prayer, an inspiring D’var Torah, a sermon or guest speaker, and the warmth of friends and community we welcome Shabbat as a special interlude in our week. Everyone is invited to celebrate the beauty and joy of Shabbat! 

Every month, Temple Sinai sponsors a Tot Shabbat service, perfect for children ages 0-7 and their parents.  Join us for a joyful and engaging service with singing and a Shabbat story. This is a Shabbat celebration for the whole family!

The Jewish High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur bring reflection and renewal that are critical for our lives, an opportunity to consider who we truly are as human beings and to realign ourselves to our aspirations of whom we desire to be. After a long summer, we need this spiritual task, so that we can live our lives fully. 

At Temple Sinai, we believe music elevates the soul and deepens our Shabbat prayer experience and connection with God. At Shabbat services, we strive to create a musical environment that invites congregation members to sing and experience uplift as they participate actively in prayer.

The occasions that we refer to as “Lifecycle Events” mark those moments in our lives when we (or a friend or loved one) move into a new phase of Jewish living. B’nai Mitzvah and Weddings are among the most recognized but there are other milestones and transitions as well, including the adoption or birth of a child, death of a loved one, and anniversaries of important events.
