Temple Sinai will be participating in a pilot session to try out the upcoming New Reform Torah Commentary project, a new book that is in process of being created by the Reform movement to explore the Jewish ideas that emerge from the Torah.
On Saturday, November 8, join Rabbi Vogel to study the morning’s Torah portion using pilot materials provided by the Reform movement, including sample pages from the new Torah Commentary book.
Those who join will also have the opportunity to provide feedback to the book’s editors to help shape this important new volume.

The new Reform Torah commentary is the first major movement-wide Torah resource volume to be created since the early 1980s. It includes diverse perspectives in Torah study, including voices from traditional and non-traditional sources that will help illuminate Torah for us for generations to come.
