Jacob’s Ladder

Temple Sinai is pleased to announce that we are adding more inspiring, joyful and beautiful music to our Shabbat evening schedule!

Jacob’s Ladder is an internationally touring band seeking to push the boundaries of contemporary Jewish music and traditional American Roots music through Jewish communal singing and prayer. In melding these two musical worlds, they tell their story through Eastern European Ashkenazic and Sephardic Jewish traditions, but also through their American heritage and its influence on their unique musical style.

In addition to our longtime klezmer-style Shabbat band that will continue to join us on the 2nd Friday of each month, we will welcome Jacob’s Ladder to our Sanctuary on five additional Friday nights during the year. Jacob’s Ladder will bring a different musical style to Shabbat services. Funding for their appearances in our Sanctuary is provided by the Howard and Arlene Weintraub Fund for Excellence in Music. We look forward to experiencing Shabbat with them!
