Shaul Magid, is a rabbi, and a visting professor of modern Jewish Studies at Harvard School of Divinity. He serves as a rabbi at Fire Island Synagogue in Fire Island, New York. His latest book is The Necessity of Exile: Essays From a Distance, which addresses discuss the history of Jewish Zionism and its opposite, Jewish anti-Zionism.
