Celebrating 18 years!
Highlights from the Chai Celebration honoring Rabbi Andy Vogel
Rabbi Vogel’s Chai Celebration
Rabbi Andy Vogel has led our congregation for 18 years!
On the weekend of March 17th, 2023, we joyfully celebrated this occasion during Shabbat services, a Havdalah service with the religious school, a special Adult Learning program, and a pizza lunch in the Weintraub Community room. We were delighted that so many Temple Sinai members and friends joined us, both in person and via Zoom.
Video
A highlight of the Friday night service was a video tribute to Rabbi Vogel. Combining pictures and interviews with congregants, community members, and others, it created a wonderful portrait of the impact Rabbi Vogel has had on our synagogue and the Jewish community over the years.

Tribute Book
We were heartened by the messages that so many people wrote for inclusion in Rabbi Vogel’s Tribute Book. They eloquently capture the many ways in which he has enhanced our lives and the impact he’s had on every aspect of our congregation. Take a few minutes to read the messages and enjoy the accompanying pictures. They tell a meaningful and enduring story.
