Shabbat

The oneg after Friday night Shabbat services

At Temple Sinai, Shabbat is a opportunity to step back, breathe deeply, and renew the spirit. The richness of our service is enhanced by a variety of music provided by Cantor Rosalie Toubes, often with an accompanist, and Rabbi Vogel. We have a monthly Tot Shabbat for younger children, with stories and song, but children of all ages are always welcome at every Shabbat and are frequently invited to join the rabbi on the bima. We also have several all-school Shabbat services during the year where our religious school students participate in leading the service. Temple Sinai members sometimes celebrate special occasions by organizing a pot luck dinner before Shabbat worship, and every week the community comes together after the service for light refreshments at our oneg Shabbat.

We are delighted to have you worship with us. If you are new to our congregation, please introduce yourself to a greeter, other members, or the rabbi. We would love to meet you.
