With this mission in mind, the Adult Learning Committee works with the Rabbi to oversee all matters concerning adult Jewish learning in the congregation. Committee functions include:

• designing learning opportunities such as classes, retreats, educational trips, and outside speaker programs
• developing the annual budget for adult Jewish learning
• engaging Jewish learning instructors
• promoting Jewish learning opportunities within Temple Sinai and, when appropriate, to the outside community
• maintaining an awareness of adult Jewish learning best practices
• coordinating programs with other Temple committees and/or the Director of Education and the Jewish Life Educator
