| Sponsor an Oneg
Congregants often ask how they can become more connected to our Temple community, where they can fill a need. Every week we need Greeters at Friday night services and we need sponsors for the oneg Shabbat which follows Friday night services.
FAQs: Q. Why are you giving us this message? A. Although many people frequently do sponsor, we don’t have enough oneg sponsors for every Shabbat.
Q. How much does it cost? A. The cost of the raw ingredients and beverages, if you do it yourself.
Q. What do I have to do? A. Provide light refreshments, prepare them for serving, and put these things out on tables at the desired time. Help to clean up afterwards. No experience required!
Q. Can I sponsor the oneg in honor of an occasion? A. Most certainly! Congregants will often sponsor onegs for simchas such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and other commemorations.
