Programs for Pre-School Children

Temple Sinai is proud to offer these wonderful opportunities for Pre-School-age children:

  • K’tonton, monthly on Sundays, 10:00am – 12:00pm

Once a month on Sunday mornings, children ages 3-4 years old are invited to join us for our free K’tonton program, an interactive, drop-off program Temple Sinai has run for more than 20 years. Children are introduced to our Religious School experience each month by learning about Jewish holidays through arts and crafts, music and song, stories and games. Your child will be learn to enjoy Jewish holidays, ask questions, and make new friends. Taught by Karen Halfon, who has over 20 years of experience, this “kids only” program is free of charge and open to the public. Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required. Questions? Call 617-277-5883, or click here for the calendar:

  • Shabbat Mishpacha, monthly on Saturdays, 9:00-10:00am

Families with young children ages 0-7 are invited to join Rabbi Shoshana Friedman in the Sanctuary once a month on Saturday mornings, for an interactive Shabbat morning service with singing and storytelling.  A lively 30-minute service is followed by an informal Shabbat morning Oneg in our Library, with grape juice, challah and a snack (as well as informal schmoozing time for parents), concluding at 10:00 a.m..  This is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the synagogue, Jewish songs and prayers.  Click here for the calendar for our next Shabbat Mishpacha service:
